|We bought No 4 Place Du Haras in May
2006 and spent many, many hours of our holidays lovingly restoring
it, so that we, our families, friends and paying guests can
be very comfortable whilst staying here.
The original part of the house is very old and the extension
alone, which was a barn until it was converted, is around two
hundred years old.
We are told that it was used as a stud farm at one stage and
also as a bakery.
The sunny courtyard garden is completely secluded and child-friendly
and includes a BBQ, tables and chairs where many happy hours
can be spent over a meal and bottle of wine.
||The house, which sleeps 6 people, is situated
in the pretty village of Gourgé and it has been completely
renovated and equipped with all modern appliances, to include
fridges, freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, washing machine,
tumble dryer, flat-screen TV and DVD player, music centre, BBQ
and garden furniture.
Over the years, whilst our children were growing up, we spent
many holidays, in the UK and abroad, staying in self-catering
accommodation. We always appreciated staying in clean and comfortable
properties and hopefully this is what we have achieved.
